Community fun at Halloween themed bingo night helps Wirksworth Swimming Pool
On Friday 24th October 2014, The Friends of Wirksworth Swimming Pool fundraising team hosted a Halloween themed bingo night at The Red Lion Hotel in Wirksworth.
The evening, which included bingo games and a raffle, raised almost £300 for the pool.
Glyn Booth, Pool Manager comments: “I would like to thank everyone who attended and especially those who helped organise the evening. The Red Lion Hotel were once again very supportive providing a venue. Our special thanks also to local businesses Home Delights Deli, Almark Garage, Toy Library, Elcocoa Chocolate and all the individuals who donated prizes.
The fundraising team hope to host another bingo evening near to Easter 2015, so watch this space for details.
